Today, with increasing challenges in the internal work environment, it is found that the employees need to communicate with each other. They need to overcome communication gaps, bridge them through proper solutions, and thereby complete the assigned tasks within the given timeframe. The process of communication will include – sending a message to the receiver, encoding the message to ensure confidentiality, selecting the right channel for communication, receiving the message at receiver’s end, and decoding it. However, it is important for the project team and the marketing team to decide on the communication channels so that the intended message sent can be received at the receiver’s end (Zhu & Hildebrandt, 2013). However, it is noticed that there are different challenges arising at the workplace due to lack of proper business communication. These include – ambiguity, interference, lack of equivalence, prejudice, stereotypes, lack of knowledge of non-verbal cues, and lack of cultural communication (Zhu & Hildebrandt, 2013). Hence, it becomes important to address these challenges of business communication by implementing a proper plan in the organization. Today, with increased globalization, it is found that the Human Resource (HR) manager needs to address different challenges of diversity, communication, teamwork, and workplace efficiency. Hence, to address these key issues, it is first important to improve communication at the workplace by providing more number of channels to the employees, providing with discussion portals, and also providing with collaboration tools through which they will be able to share information and other important communication about their respective tasks and projects (Holland & Albrecht, 2013). It will thereby assist them in improving the workplace challenges regarding business communication at the workplace. Today, there are also different models and techniques developed for the purpose of improving business communication; however, the HR manger needs to analyze the situation and accordingly implement a proper framework for business communication at a given workplace in the organization (Anderson & Rowland, 2014). This research proposal will thereby focus on identifying the major challenges regarding business communication in a selected organization. Also, it will take reviews and feedbacks from the employees by conducting a proper research through surveys. There will be also meta-analysis carried out in the research that will include relevant discussion and information pertaining to this issue. It will thereby assist in identifying the major challenges regarding communication such as – internal workface, implementation of change management techniques, informing progress of the projects and other information to external stakeholders, and thereby connecting with media (Anderson & Rowland, 2014). The top-level management of the organization needs to formulate communication objectives and thereby assign the tasks to the middle-level management. They will be thereby allocating the different tasks to the ground-level staff and will effectively communicate with them on the objectives of the organization. It is important to note that with recent advancements in the field of technology, it will be easy for the employees to connect with each other and share vital information about their projects irrespective of geographical location.
